Yeah, my story begins like pretty much everyone else’s:

I was born.

After that, it’s pretty much a progession of stories that reads like something Dorothy Allision might’ve written. I’ve spent thirty years learning how to move past that history and into my own future as a writer.  It’s been a long, rough journey, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything, for what are we but the sum of our parts?

I’ve just completed work on my 24th and 25th novels, though I’m a pre-published author who has used those tools to hone my skill and strengthen my craft.  In addition, I’ve written 7 screenplays, and more than 50 short stories.  My poetry currently appears in a line of greeting cards by Blue Mountain Arts. I am currently in the market for an agent.

When I’m not writing, I work with the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue as their western U.S. Events Coordinator, work with the Colorado State government as an historical documents specialist and administrative coordinator, and facilitate a bi-weekly writer’s group here in Colorado, and I’m also on the Board of my neighborhood HOA.

If you were to ask Briggs & Meyer about my ‘personality type,’ they’d tell you I am:

Introverted/INtuitive/Thinking/Judging (INTJ).

In my ‘free’ time, I hang out with my amazing dogs, blog, write, and work on my personal website.
